My Story

I majored in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Mass Media and a minor in Political Science at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. After finding a passion for adult learning theory, I began to pursue a Master's in Instructional Systems Technology in 2016.

My career began at Abercrombie & Fitch, where I'd train new employees on the basics: customer service, running a cash register, and brand senses standards in a fast-paced retail store.

At Apple, I facilitated customer workshops on everything from Getting Started on your Mac to Editing in Final Cut Pro. An outstanding NPS scored me an invitation to train Apple employees at new store locations across the southeast. In 2013, I applied to the Global Guest Trainer program and was selected to be one of five – out of 6,000 applications – for a 2-year rotational program designing and facilitating training at Apple HQ in Cupertino, California.

2016 was all about change and I departed Apple with much gratitude for Lyft. At Lyft, I've worked on a team to build a robust training program for the Customer Experience & Trust organization, traveled to Bogota to onboard a new BPO site, and worked with the VP of People on interview skills training for new managers.

Now, I’m at Disney during a time of unprecedented growth. As part of the Sales Strategy team, our Learning Services group designs and develops learning content and training tools that support business strategies and organizational growth goals across the iconic portfolio of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

Always inspired, I constantly remind myself of my elementary school's motto – "Inspiring Lifelong Learners." It's how I hope to leave my mark on the world.
