Fireworks Friday: HalloWishes

October is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom in particular is exceptionally festive. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the seasonal hard ticket parties that's hosted each year.

The highlight of the party, in my opinion, is HalloWishes. As Magic Kingdom's Halloween themed fireworks display, there are appearances by Disney Villains and perimeter blasts that make this one of the most immersive pyrotechnics displays anywhere.

This photo was taken in October 2013 using my Canon T2i and Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens. I took quite a few photos of the fireworks that night, and I really love the motion blur at the bottom of the photo. The Sigma 35mm is tack sharp and reproduces color like no other. It's one of my favorite lenses.

I'm still practicing with night photography, but thanks to sites like the Disney Photography Blog and Disney Tourist Blog, I'm making progress! I'm proud to make this my first contribution to #FireworksFriday!
